Many of you will remember the Aesop Fable about the Wind and the Sun arguing over who could get the man to take off his cloak. The Wind felt that it could blow it off the man and tried as hard as it could, but to no avail. The Sun then tried and by getting brighter and warmer caused the man to take off his coat of his own accord. The moral is that you can gain more by persuasion than force.
Right about now we all want the Wind and the Sun to work together to dry up all of the water and get us onto that nice green carpet that will follow. A little bit of force and a lot of persuasion and we will be swinging sooner than later. As of today our plan is to open on 13 May (or earlier) unless the wind and sun do not co-operate.
