Roanoke Ladies Participate in Valley Cup

Under very hot conditions our Ladies' competed in the 2nd Annual Valley Cup played at the Oaks of Cobden on Sunday. Our team finished in 3rd place just points behind last year's champs from Petawawa. The host team won this year following suit as Petawawa hosted and won the Cup last year. The good news is we get to host next season and will try hard to keep the streak going. Congratulations to our team: Joan Martin, Brenda Lundy, Mary Smeltzer, Linda Brazeau, Tami Sheridan, Katie Paquette, Terry Beaune, Joyce Serre, Shirley Badgley, and Eleanor Boire.

Club Championship is fast approaching!

We currently have 40 members signed up for this 2 day event on 4-5 September. Those who wish to play must fill out the registration form and prepay at the Clubhouse by next Wednesday at the latest.

There will be no extensions to the deadline as we have lots of administration to get ready in the two days before the tournament.
